Web4 Jan 2015 · Thanks for your answer. I actually need to compile this for Android Kernel. You are true that it is in the kernel source tree. I was able to compile it and get smsc75xx.ko file. When i tried to load it using insmod, i got "insmod: can't insert 'smsc75xx.ko': unknown symbol in module or invalid parameter" – Web27 Apr 2024 · The device enumerates on the USB as 0424/7800, and the chip-id register reads 0x7800. I should have realised sooner that this might not be consistent with a 75xx …

With 5.4.21 I had a lot of problems of interface stopping working during the day, and up to now, with the same usage, there have been no problems at all on 4.19.106.
