WebHiFiMan WebI use eq for almost all of my headphones but i rarely use eq to boost the bass (at least not in large amounts). The reason for this is that i once tried to boost the bass on my hd800s while driving it from my phone and the result was just simply horrible sounding (without the bass bosst the phone actually runs the hd800s quite well).
