It is several miles above the end of Hungry Horse Reservoir on the edge of the beautiful Bob Marshall Wilderness. There is access to a trail which leads to the Great Bear Wilderness. WebThis is a free boat launch site located 46 miles south of the town of Hungry Horse on the gravel East Side Reservoir Road #38. The boat launch is located at an elevation of 3,600 feet and is maintained from July 1 through September 15. Crossover Boat Launch is situated next to the Hungry Horse Reservoir just off the East Side Reservoir Road #38.
